The Festival Ballet Ensemble

The Festival Ballet Ensemble features dancers from some of the most esteemed ballet companies in the world. The performance for the Festival in the Park will include works by George Balanchine (New York City Ballet’s co-founder and founding choreographer), Justin Peck (Tony award winner and current Resident Choreographer of the New York City Ballet) and other prominent and emerging choreographic talents. The cast will feature dancers Gilbert Bolden III, Jacqueline Bologna, Emilie Gerrity, Laine Habony, Spartak Hoxha, Baily Jones, Alston Macgill and Olivia MacKinnon.

Dancer Biographies

Gilbert Bolden III is a member of New York City Ballet’s corps de ballet and was born in San Diego, California. He became an apprentice with NYCB in August 2017 and joined the Company as a member of the corps de ballet in August 2018. Mr. Bolden has also choreographed works for New York City Ballet’s First Steps program, the St. Bart’s Music Festival, the Young Choreographers Festival and the School of American Ballet.

Jacqueline Bologna is a member of the corps de ballet of the New York City Ballet and was born in Boston, Massachusetts. She became an apprentice with NYCB in November 2013 and joined the Company as a member of the corps de ballet in November 2014.

Emilie Gerrity is a soloist in the New York City Ballet and was born in Danbury, Connecticut. She was named as an apprentice with NYCB in 2009 and joined the Company as a member of the corps de ballet in September 2010. In February 2017, Ms. Gerrity was promoted to soloist.

Laine Habony is a member of New York City Ballet’s corps de ballet and hails from Dallas, Texas. She became an apprentice with NYCB in November 2013 and joined the Company as a member of the corps de ballet in November 2014.

Spartak Hoxha is a member of New York City Ballet’s corps de ballet and was born in Tirana, Albania. In August 2010, Mr. Hoxha became an apprentice with NYCB and the following August he joined the Company as a member of the corps de ballet.

Baily Jones is a member of New York City Ballet’s corps de ballet and was born in Holladay, Utah. She was named an apprentice with NYCB in August 2014 and joined the Company as a member of the corps de ballet in July 2015.

Alston Macgill is a member of the corps de ballet of the New York City Ballet and was born in Savannah, Georgia. She became an apprentice with NYCB in August 2015 and joined the Company as a member of the corps de ballet in August 2016.

Olivia MacKinnon is a member of New York City Ballet’s corps de ballet and hails from Mobile, Alabama. Ms. MacKinnon became an apprentice with NYCB in November 2012 and joined the Company as a member of the corps de ballet in October 2013.
